"I have strong commitment to principle-based teaching methods.  I search for simplicity and practicality when creating and implementing curricula.  In addition to teaching the general public through proven strategies and techniques, I have designed workshops that range from addressing the unique needs of public safety officers to workshops that meet the needs of people with disabilities and other health conditions.

By utilizing survival stress tools and breath optimization, we can learn to develop the physical, the mental and emotional control needed to effectively address stress and maximize peak potential.

I am committed to connecting with each student to determine how best to customize and present the practice to help each person to achieve their personal goals, given their individual backgrounds and abilities. Whether you are an elite athlete at the top of your game, a climber, cyclist or other weekend warrior seeking improved physical endurance, an entrepreneur looking for an edge, I am confident that training  survival stress tools will support you to meet your goals."

Dra. Ariadna Uriarte

Médico y neuropsicóloga

Terapista cognitiva conductual

Ariadna Uriarte, MD, holds degrees in general surgery, neuropsychology, and cognitive behavioral therapy. After graduating from the esteemed Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and completing her medical training, she worked at a private-care institution for nearly five years, performing more than 6,000 surgeries on children with cerebral palsy.  During that time, she was able to observe how these operations had a positive effect not only on the body of the patient, but also on the psyche. This realization prompted her to resume her studies of the human mind and pursue a master's degree in neuropsychology, and later to specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy.  She is currently pursuing a second master's degree in clinical sexology and couples therapy.

Dr. Uriate believes that it takes more than theory to connect with a patient, and even more to provide an accurate diagnosis with an appropriate and timely treatment.  This conviction has led her to conclude that in order to truly connect with and help people, medicine must become the most artistic of the sciences. For many years, she has explored what goes on in the human mind, from clear and  conscious thoughts to the most buried unconscious behaviors. She has dedicated her professional life to the arena of health, especially mental health.  As a cognitive behavioral therapist, Dr. Uriate currently treats patients in her private clinic using strategies that address the whole person.
